Question: Did the Public Health Department send emails out to all rental property owners regarding the need for a lead certification?

 

Answer: Yes, an email went out from LHHP (Lead & Healthy Homes Program, a.k.a The Public Health Department) on December 19, 2021, to all rental property owners (in ZIP codes for Phase 4) regarding their requirement to submit a lead certificate. The email is below:

You are receiving this message as your property at XXXX Street, Philadelphia PA 19106 may be required to submit lead safe or lead free data to the Lead and Healthy Homes Program in the near future. While this does not impact your license renewal at the moment, starting on 04/01/2022 this may be a requirement for your renewal. Please visit the Lead and Healthy Homes Program to learn more.
